Her first film was a dud and after that it's been mostly films like 'Company', 'Dil ka Rishtaa' 'Don: The Chase Begins', 'Darna Mana Hai', 'Salaam-e-Ishq', 'Kaante', 'Hum Tum', '36 China Town' and the recent 'Hello' for her.
The upcoming 'Har Pall', 'Hello Darling' also has her in similar roles but she's looking forward to lead parts in 'Ek Vivaah aisi Bhi' and the long stuck 'Shabri' with RGV!
She's happy about having moved on from friendly and special appearances to full-fledged roles. Looks like she's trying to take stock of her career now! The name change from Isha Koppikar to Eesha Koppikhar must have been of some use!
Though she's trained in taekwondo and is a fitness freak who wants to actually do an out and out an action film, reportedly she's done well as a demure and simple girl in Barjatyas' 'Ek Vivaah...Aisa Bhi'.
She plays a small town girl Chandni, who becomes the sole bread-winner of her family from being a naive bride-to-be after the death of her father.
She also adds, "I started my Bollywood career with a glamorous image and the songs became a rage; so I never got an opportunity to do something like 'Ek Vivaah.... But this film has given me a chance to explore my personality as an actress.
I was looking for a role of an Indian girl. This film offered me that. I wear very simple and ethnic clothes in the film. I don't wear too much make-up and the entire look is very serene. I liked doing it."
We wonder if a new phase in Eesha's career starts post the big change!
